"My name is Blaine Morales and I’m a second year political science major, currently located in Newport Beach, CA. Following graduation, I have an interest in pursuing management or political risk consulting."
Why did you start BLIS? What do you hope to help our members with as the president?
"I decided to joint BLIS because in the past I really wanted a law club that wasn’t so focused on law school admissions, but that also took into account the business and finance interests I have. BLIS has been the perfect place for this so far with a mix of business and law events."
What has been your favorite internship/extracurricular/personal experience? Describe.
"My favorite internship experience has been working on a tech/social media startup over the past year. It has been really cool to see not only some aspects of the tech space, but also the business and legal affairs that go into growing a company in a niche space."
What has been your favorite UCLA experience?
"My favorite UCLA experience has definitely been going on retreats last year with some organizations on campus. I love getting to know everyone in a more interesting setting, as well as getting to explore a new area near LA."
