BLIS at UCLA
Get to Know Our Team: Jiteshwar Attri
Meet our Deputy Director of Investments for Stocks and Equities, Jiteshwar Attri!

Let us get to know you! Introduce yourself.
"My name is Jiteshwar Attri, but I go by JT. I am currently a Pre-Business-Economics major, and I am also interested in the Bioinformatics Minor. I am currently situated in my home town of San Rafael, just north of San Francisco. Following graduation, I am looking into finance-related careers such as consulting, investment banking, etc. However, I am also interested in start-ups and entrepreneurship."
Why did you join BLIS? What do you hope to help our members with as the deputy director of legal affairs?
"I joined BLIS because I was interested in both corporate law and investing as a future career path. I decided to become a board member because I wanted to gain some leadership experience and because I really like that the club is open to all who are curious about corporate law/investing world. This brings me to why I think members should join BLIS: whereas many other clubs are extremely competitive and selective, joining BLIS is easy and the community is very accepting of all skillsets and backgrounds."
What has been your favorite internship/extracurricular/personal experience? Describe.
"My favorite extracurricular experience is probably being interviewed by NPR. After my newspaper article was published, a producer from NPR contacted me to get me to talk about my thoughts on the immigration system. It was really memorable, and it is definitely one of the achievements I am most proud of."
What has been your favorite UCLA experience?
"I have not had the chance to go onto the UCLA campus as a college student. However, during the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, I attended a 2-week-long mock trial camp on campus, and that was very fun. In fact, my experience at the camp was what led me to pick UCLA over the other schools I got into (Berkeley and USC)."
